Snowflake

Not Quite Perfect Snowflake

I'm in the midst of a snowstorm and naturally wanted some snow shots. I was lucky enough to see this singular, though not quite perfect snowflake dangling from my hemlock out front. It might be a hair of mine got caught in the branches and this snowflake got caught on it. What are the chances of that happening?

AS there was a breeze out there, this flake kept spinning and was hard to capture. I took over a dozen pictures of it. THis was the shot that really captured it! THe formation might not be perfect, but you can still recognize the shape. This is a handheld shot with natural lighting. I cropped the shot to enlarge the flake.Thought you might like to see it! One day I hope to capture a perfectly shaped flake.

Hope you enjoy!
Thanks SO much for stopping by!
