This is an experimental work. I am trying to use Woodcut, Linocut and Manga features for the illustration of classical and modern East Asian Folktales and urban legends. The Fairy and most of the picture is digitally painted, but I also used previous self created clips which were digitally created working with white paint on a black canvas and cut from it. Woodcut printing is a technique used in fine art, book illustration, decorative art, textile printing etc for many centuries around the world. Woodblock printing was introduced from China to Japan during the Edo Period.
