African Mammal at the Zoo Contest Entry

I think I'm misunderstood here. I shouldn't be here. I should be free. But the poachers you see, they took my family. I ended up here. They are kind here, I'm well cared for. But can't help missing my family. When you come to visit me, please be kind. Making those animals noises rather scares me. I now turn away when I hear that. Please visit me often. I get lonely sometimes. I promise I'll make you smile.
