Gibbons are actually apes although they resemble monkeys. Known as the lesser apes. Their fur coloration varies from dark to light brown shades, and anywhere from black to white. This is a mom Gibbon. Although you cannot see the baby, it is there clinging to her belly. You can see a little foot if you look close enough.
