Still Life- Art Contest Entry

I live by the sea and one of my and my children and now my grandchildren's favourite pastimes is walking on our beach, looking for fossils. We do have a good sandy beach but there are some areas where pebbles collect. I'm always fascinated by the many different colours and shapes of these pebbles and it's always exciting when we come across fossils. This is my impression of the pebbles. I used watercolours on 300gsm watercolour paper.
