I took this through the kitchen window yesterday while making my breakfast. The Blackbirds were both eating from the dish in turn then this Feral Pigeon arrived & in it's approach I felt it was asking the female Blackbird could he join her?? The light reflecting off the food is making the female Blackbird's breast look red like her cousin the American Robin, it is in fact dark brown. Susan
