I took this shot from the bridge connecting the main landof India to the small town of Rameswaram on the Pamban island southern most the tip of South India. As your eyes gaze across the sea (Pamban Channel) and the fishing village to the farthest horizon , you get a glimpse of
Sri Lanka.

Rameswaram is one of the 4 holiest place for Hindus and the huge temple there is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva.

It was a lovely, breezy day and hence I could get a good view of the surrounding areas and the scenic beauty of the place.I had to quickly shoot and scoot as parking was not allowed on the bridge.:) But I managed to get a good shot.
