Statues Contest Entry
This is a view of the Burnett Fountain in The Conservatory Garden in Central Park in NYC which was built in 1924 to honor Eliza Burnett who wrote 'The Secret Garden'. The bronze statue is a young woman holding a birdbath and a young man playing the flute (not seen in this image) which resembles the characters in "The Secret Garden". It's lovely in the spring surrounded by tulips and daffodils and with little sparrows splashing in the bath.
