Man Impacted Landscape Contest Entry
Once upon a time this was a beautiful forest, then man commandeered it for his own use. That use was a Sawmill. It sat beside a brook, engulfed in the trees left behind and the gurgling brook helped run the mill.

That mill stood for over 100 years, until the carelessness of a few burnt it to the ground and decimated all the beautiful trees around it. It is a very sad sight for my neighborhood that I walk by everyday.

Look very hard and you will see tools of a bygone era and what is left of a footbridge over the brook which is now polluted.
