Man Impacted Landscape - Photography (b) Contest Entry

This is a photo of Lower Manhattan taken from across the harbor at the Brooklyn Promenade just South of the Brooklyn Bridge. A beautiful 55 degree day in December! The tallest building was designed by Gehry, a renowned modern architect, and is called 8 Spruce Street, a new rental building. The skyline in Lower Manhattan has changed radically since September 11, 2001. The South Street Seaport is at the bottom of the image.
