Olive trees

Six olive trees were brought on the HMS Buffalo in 1836 by Governor John Hindmarsh and planted in his garden and from that time several plantings continued around the new city of Adelaide. These are in one of the parkland which surround our lovely city and have so far survived developers desire to reduce the green areas. I love the gnarled trunk and branches.
