Marina Beach is a natural urban beach in the city of Chennai, India, along the Bay of Bengal. The beach runs from near Fort St. George in the north to Foreshore Estate in the south, a distance of 6.5 km (4.0 mi), making it the longest natural urban beach in the country and the world's first longest natural urban beach. It is the beach in the seashore of Chennai. The beach is a beautiful tourist spot too. The beach also has many statues of the great leaders and society based.

While walking along the promenade one evening,I took this shot of Gandhi statue based on his 'Dandi March' as a protest against the salt tax law imposed during the British rule. As the light started falling, I took a few shots and I thought that the light and the silhouette showed up best in this particular shot. Hence my entry.
Camera: My cellphone Nexus4. I have slightly adjusted the light, nd resized the image to FAR requirements.
Enjoy!
