Human Form Art Contest Contest Entry
I am inspired by dancers and anatomy. I find the human form beautiful, it's perfectly proportioned and has a complex rhythm that is hidden underneath the skin. Why can't bones, muscle, and skin be beautiful? They work together perfectly to make a strong and graceful. Dancers use their bodies as an art medium and I wanted to express how I respond to that art. This piece was an idea I had in drawing class one day. It's 22x36 all done in charcoal and a piece that ended up in my senior exhibit.
