Stacked monarchs

Last Sunday seemed to be a peak day of monarch migration. At a public garden they just swarmed the Cosmos flowers. They often seem to compete for the same flower and dust each other off a lot. This smaller butterfly actually landed on the wing of the larger one. I don't think this situation lasted very long, but a fast shutter speed happened to catch it in the moment.
