Hibiscus Flower Bloom

Beauty from Within

by Lisa M.

Mixed Media Photograph of the Month Contest Entry
I originally ordered the seeds online. I knew they got it wrong once the first bloom started to show and it was white. I had ordered a hibiscus that was supposed to be pink blue and purple. It actually has been Very Interesting to watch. I planted 2 of these side by side from the same batch of seeds. One of them is Always Solid White with a Raspberry Center. While the other looks Identical all of the blooms appear to look like the Raspberry Center has Faded Onto the White (as shown in photo.) Just like Laundry! This has baffled me. They are continously side by side and in the same conditions but one is pure white and the other has more of a pink to it. They are an Eye Catcher and are Huge! Still blooming in a bush form here daily :) Hope you Enjoy
