I love to go to butterfly gardens and Magic Wings in South Deerfield, MA is no exception. Beautiful place with lots of wonderful butterflies, birds, insects and unusual frogs. This is a Malachite (Siproeta stelenes) butterfly though I am not sure whether it is male or female. It is native to Central/South America. This is my second favorite green butterfly, the Emerald Swallowtail being my first.
