Comanche working through some VERY deep snow

....Some SERIOUS snow

I honestly do not remember ever seeing this much snow in MARCH here where I live in Vermont....snowstorms have been relentless. My gardens are now buried under more snow than they were in December.

Went out w/ my camera and Comanche this morning to try and capture some of the stunningly beautiful scenery around my little spot here after yesterday's snows. The snowplow guy hadn't been in yet though so I let Comanche go first and tried to stay in her trail. Just past the wood shed though she suddenly veered off and started following some deer tracks (see snow in front of her)

That's when I took this image. Comanche is a large German Shepard but she was literally holding her head up to keep it out of the snow.....lol....so I am saving my brand new 'pretty' March-in-Vermont images for the future and posting this one instead. Really needed a good laugh anyway!
