It is always fun to walk along a gulf beach at low tide. Often the low tide exposes underwater sand bars that contain small crustaceans. The gulls find these to be very easy to find and a great treat. This beats begging for food among the beach people (who should not feed them anyway).

I took lots of these type of images, I never did get tired of shooting them though. I guess the sounds and smells go along with the image as a memory.

1/4,000 second (wanted to freeze the birds movements as best I could)
