Photograph of the Month Contest Entry
Known for their song and once kept as cage birds, the Dhyal Thrush is the national bird of Bangladesh. It's image is used on paper currency. They are common in India and Sri Lanka and live in Pakistan, Southern China and Thailand.

These birds are also called the Oriental Magpie-robin because they are no longer considered a member of the Thrush family, instead they are considered a member of the Old World Flycatcher family.
