Landscape Photography Contest Entry
Canon EOS 11000; f/22; 1/8 sec.; 0 step exposure bias; IS0-100; Focal length 18mm; Metering Mode Center Weighted Average; No flash.
Using a tripod 4 photos were taken in RAW mode. The first of these was processed in the following way: Temp: 6000; Tint: +17; Exposure: +0,7; Contrast +13; Highlights: -90; Shadows: +16; Whites: +18; Black+21; Clarity: +9; dehaze: + 12.
The remaining 3 photos were matched to this. All four photos were opened and the following adjustments were made to their levels: Red left = 12; Green left = 15; Blue left = 8.
The four photos were then stitched together using Photoshop - in order to not lose foreground and height all 4 options were checked including vignette removal, Geometric distortion correction, and content awareness fill.
The stitching process caused a tilt on the horizon and this had to be corrected and the photo straightened. Content awareness filled certain areas with absurdities e.g. tree trunks hanging in mid air. These were removed with a combination of cloning and the healing brush.
The final photo before resizing for upload was overlaid with a rough pastel filter.

Post Type: Mixed Media Photography
Mixed Media: Major 4 photos were shot in RAW - each of the photos were matched in terms of adjustments and were then knitted together. Some cloning was necessary to cover the knit points and the final photo was overlaid with pastel strokes. See long description for full details
