16x20 oil painting
Lazy Day of Summer
by Linda Prebyl
Starting on a 16"x20" canvas, the sky was shaded in, then the bridge was undercoated, the trees were stomped in and we let dry, we detailed the bridge next and added color to the bridge and trees, stomped in the grass and added the stones undercoat; then detailed the stones and the trees, adding their final color, last was the detailed fisherman and finishing touches to the water. This is the most difficult painting I have ever done. First place ribbon in the county fair.
