Line Art Contest Contest Entry
12 X 12 ink on paper
Post Type: Traditional Art
Mixed Media: None | I finally was able to take an image that did not brown the background like my first image. Sometimes using bright sunlight works better than lamps.

I took a break from watercolors to work on my line art contest entry. I learned a lot creating this piece as you have to think about what lines you are going to use and how heavy a line as you can only use one color lines. Since I have been working on flowers lately, I thought I would try to come up with an unusual bouquet of mixed flowers. I completed sunflowers, daisies, and tulips. I did not want to just have the flowers float in the space or have just a traditional vase so I thought use a gardening boot and add a perfume bottle along with the clear glass vase. My way of adding a feminine touch to the boot. And someone suggested that I have my bee engaged with the flowers so I did in this piece.
