I used a 7" x 5" piece of glossy photo paper for this. In separate pots I mixed different acrylic colours, added PVA glue and a few drops of coconut milk and then poured some from each pot in random lines over the paper. At the top end I poured a layer of iridescent blue/black then with a damp piece of kitchen roll lightly swiped this over the paper. The glue and coconut milk help to create interesting cells and shapes in the paint. Still having fun....
