Concrete Emotions built up tough, sturdy and strong just as buildings. Wisdom, failure, pleasure, guilt, love, hate, comfort, pain, happy, and sad all are just like hidden illnesses. Always felt but rarely seen. Emotions of Life are strong until they crumble. Just like a building of concrete tumbles at some point in its life, so do we. I hope to use this in my book I am writing about coping with my sudden adult onset deafness. Deafness is not seen and comes with many emotions. I have been Blessed to have had more triumphs than trials and hope it to be a book of hope to many. Many that are coping daily with unseen emotions and hidden illnesses. I hope itto be a tiny beacon of Concrete Hope.
