A whimsical view of an Andalusian courtyard
On a guided walking tour of Velez-Blanco, in Andalusia, Spain, with fellow writers attending a weekend conference, we came on this courtyard. It was a real feast for the eyes, with flowers and various decorative figures. Unfortunately, there was so much it was impossible to get in everything, as the iron gates were closed, and the bars would have spoiled the shot. I concentrated on the quirkiest corner, and I'm really pleased with this shot. Taken 5 November, 2017.

|Taken on a guided walk in Velez-Blanco, Spain. A well decorated Andalusian courtyard. I couldn't get the whole thing, as I had to take the shot through closed gates, so I concentrated on the most colourful area, using some zoom.|
