Weathering the storm to photograph lightening.
by Jill Mullins
The Night - Photography (a) Contest Entry
I was at my farm one weekend and a fast approaching storm was rolling in. As I saw the lightening strikes off in the distance, I gathered up my gear, rain protection and out into the storm I went hoping to capture a lightening strike. After 30 minutes and many failed attempts, this was presented and I was able to get it! I was so excited and thrilled, that I quit on that one and went inside to dry out and review my pictures.

I only used curves in Photoshop to enhance and brighten the colors.
