Color Red Contest Entry
This last weekend there have been in the uk and abroad various tributes etc to WW1 and WW2,mostly WW1 because its been 100years since piece was declared. Have seen many tv documentaries depicting WW1 and must admit it has bought me to tears a few times, this piece of art was made of various material including poppies by a local village group and fixed on the side of this church, was something to witness. Whats been good over here has been the involement of schools and a lot of research finding out about people named on war memorials and people almost bringing them to life with knowledge about the servicemen involved and killed in WW1. Really moving some of it.
