Red Crab Apple Kaleidoscope

I created this Kaleidoscopic collage from a photo of my red Malus baccata (Siberian crab apple) Which makes very tasty jelly & the Birds love to eat throughout the winter months as if not picked the apples remain on my tree until the blossom appears next year. This variety is one of the hardiest, suitable for the coldest situation, a vigorous, rounded tree, with mid-green leaves, downy on the reverse. Abundant white flowers in mid- and late spring are followed by small, long-stalked, red crab apples lasting well into Winter. Disease resistant Ultimate height 5m (16ft), Spread 4m (13ft). Susan
Post Type: Mixed Media Photography
Mixed Media: Some | Light dark balance adjusted, cropped, then layered upon itself x 4 each layer smaller than the one below. the edges of the upper three layers softened. The using Reflective Effects -Kaleidoscope in Corel Paint Shop Pro I place it in the Kaleidoscope & cropped a little from each side. With a second copy of the Kaleidoscopic image I layered it upon itself x 4 each layer smaller than the one below. I then layered these copies onto a plain dark green base sheet to create the collage. One large copy of the original & beside it two of the second copy with an original one in the centre.
I then framed it.
