Cardinal(s) Contest Entry

I have always wanted to get a great photo of the cardinal but as you can see I am having trouble with getting spots out of this one. I went on photoshop and I am not doing something right. I think that this is a good photo of the bird and I did not want to post it but I thought that I would give it a try, I am also open for any suggestions that might help me out, a far member in need.
