Sticking his tongue out at me!

I went to an indoor bird show thinking that I wouldn't be able to get many good pictures since the room is basically pitch black with a couple of spotlights when the birds come out and I couldn't bring a tripod. Then there are all the people in the audience that complicate photography even more :) I ended up getting a once in a lifetime shot of a Snowy Owl being a little cheeky!

Once he landed he stuck his tongue out as I was photographing him. If you look closely at his eyes you can see that he had just opened his translucent third eyelid - the nictitating membrane, and the light hit it just right to be seen.
