Nature Traditional Photo Contest Contest Entry

This is a Great Blue Heron coming out of the water after he caught a fish. I spend Hours upon hours waiting to get a shot like this. You have to get close enough to start with. This stump is close to the bank so I see the bird sitting there and just walk up slowly, if he lets me I will just sit down and wait with him to see a fish swim by. You hope the fish are active because he will wait as long as it takes and so will I. This is the result.
