(Please go online for the whole song lyrics!)This is one of the bizarre songs that was often played on the Dr. Demento radio program.Fish Heads was a novelty song written by songwriter Kevin Stevenson and released as a single in 1978 by the rock duo of Barnes and Barnes.I came across these two dead carp,nicely positioned,on the shore of Lake Ontario,quite sure if anyone going by would have thought it was a bit strange that I was taking photos of two rather desiccated fish. Course they don?t know me!Anyway,they aren?t really roly-poly anymore,but the title still works. This is one of the closeup shots I took,enhanced the sharpness to bring out more details,adjusted color and brightness.
