Several of our does like to lie down in the field not far from our house after they are done eating, usually dozing or chewing their cuds.Saturday morning there were about 5 of them,so I spent quite a bit of time taking pictures of a couple of them once I could find a spot where there weren?t many blackberry stems in the way. Many of them are quite used to us,so it?s comparable to walking out into a field of horses. This doe gave me the best shots, letting me get close without being overly concerned by my presence. Some of the others, who had their backs to me,never even turned around to see what I was doing. While I was photographing this doe,I had a little fawn walk up behind me,checking to see if I had any corn with me,I didn?t. Edited out some distracting stems that were in front of the doe and slightly adjusted brightness and sharpness.
