A cherry blossom tree blooming in Spring...

Spring Cherry Blossom

by Danielle Andrukitis

Nature Art Contest Contest Entry
This painting is unique in that it is textures. I used a hot glue gun to create a bumpy, raised texture for the tree trunk and the blossoms on the tree. Then, I was able to paint over the raised areas. The finished product has a sort of 3D look to it. I did this painting on stretched canvas, and I used acrylic paints. I really hope you enjoy this, as it was so fun to make!
