This portrait is meant to be characature style rather than realism. On A3 in water colour. The couple are married and work at our Sporting Club Culatrense. At one point I decided the guy would be graphite and the rest coloured. Also his wife was at the point of me adding her glasses. I was happy so far but nervous about adding the glasses so I took a head and shoulders photocopy (The original is full bodies to calf). I repainted the A4 photocopy added the glasses and coloured the guy's face. It looked ok, better coloured. I transferred my energies to the real thing. It took ages to get so I was happy. The girl and glasses were a cinch but the guy, oh dear, the copy is, always going to be best but I finished and delivered. Waiting for payment now... slow coming. But the wife took delivery and loved it.
