I have some lovely Peonies in my garden and wanted to try and capture one in paint. This is a semi-abstract version. I mixed various acrylic colours with pouring medium and water, then dropped circles of paint in a puddle in the middle of a small piece of glossy photo paper. I blew through a straw to create petal shapes and also tweaked with a cocktail stick, then finished off by adding black paint at the edges. Still having fun ......
