Found this wild looking spiral plant while out walking the yard. Very interesting to look at and touch. I am assuming that the brownish red spiral is a dead leaf of some kind. It was very thick and sturdy, but very crunchy, reminding me of potato chips. Taken with my Canon EOS 60D and a macro lens. No tripod, no flash.
