Mixed Media: Major | Gaussian blur on background , added Rhododendron Blossom and used soft edges. Soft edges on butterfly leaf. Removed butterfly to work on background then pasted back on original background. Fixed Flaws on butterfly, minor painting on butterfly BW + neg slide . More but can't remember everything.

After my very successful last posting I'm bravely stepping into the ring again. I received more sixes for this singe posting than I have in all the time I've been here. Thank you to all of you who believed my image was worth a six. I am honored beyond belief.
I hope I don't disappoint you with this piece. I have to say I'm nervous! I did a lot of work on this and wanted the butterfly to really stand out. The butterfly had a glow and I hope you can see that here. I worked with the colors in the original image which had some nice pastels. I hope you enjoy my latest posting. Thank you for stopping by!
