Mixed Media: Minor | Bunchberry, or Cornus Canadensis. This plant is edible, the berries can be eaten only when ripe. They can give stomach cramps if eaten to early,,The leaves can be eaten as well and taste like mint. The berries have a hard center. This photo was taken while camping as the berries come out in August, right here they are very dusty with road sand as we were camping on a logging road and boy the dust was flying with each passing logging truck.
