I love children's fairy tales and rhyms. This competition had so many possibles. But to tell a story in one piece is quite difficult. Snow White was one of my favourites. As a child it made me feel excited about a magic mirror, then afraid about the forest and the bad queen, i would wait in anticipation for Snow White to take the poisoned apple. I loved each of the dwarfs. And can feel even now the relief i felt when the dwarfs found her, then the prince. A wonderful tale. In retrospect these old children's stories are quite horrific. From this one I learned never to take from strangers.
Here I have only done an excerpt from the story, the dwarfs are returning to their cottage, out of sight behind the trees the wicked queen dressed as an old lady is offering Snow White a rosy red apple!
