Cercropia are the largest of the native silk moths in North America,wingspread is 5-6 inches.I raised 5 cercropia caterpillars last year,and kept their cocoons in a ziplock bag in my fridge until May,when the leaves started to come out on the trees. I placed the cocoons in a mesh enclosure on the porch,and they moths emerged in June. All moths were released into the wild. Adjusted sharpness,brightness,and color slightly.
