I love blue, saw the competition but could t think what to do so I got out my pens all shades I had in blue including pinky blues and scribbled all over the page, mostly broken lines, I then took a pale blue wedged pen and lightly stroked it across right to left landscape. I left the result on a shelf in full view to see if by observation I could develop a scene. And I did, here it is. Forms seemed to come.out of the scribbles so I further enhanced them. That is why some of the shapes are suggestive rather than defined. The funny thing is, out of this I feel I recognise the place. Not sure where but it could be Machico harbour on Madeira.
