The Color Green Contest Entry
My parents purchased a motor-home when Dad retired and they traveled across the US and Canada for 14 wonderful years. Much to my father's consternation my mother loved rocks and driftwood, so when that part of their lives ended, the rocks and driftwood found new homes in our many and varied flower beds. This particular piece was found along the Oregon coast and is now permanently surrounded by the tiny wild shamrocks that come up every spring and will take over everything. I could not resist the contrast between the grey and rustic appearance of the wood piece and the tiny green leaves. I have many pictures of the flowers as well, in pink and yellow.
