Monkeys roaming in cities and of course in smaller towns is a common sight in India. You will find them in tourist places, temples and near fruit vendors waiting to grab food from unsuspecting people. They don't harm people but create nuisance. There are monkey catching sqads in metros to prevent their nuisance.
Having said that I feel that this would make an interesting 'wild life's shot in a city.:):)
