Mixed Media: Major | Cut decorative tree from original background. Gave it head and all that you see on it. Created Facial Features, Highlighted flowers and top of dress. Gave dress top a more colorful red. Added soft green light around dress to appear as transparent silky fabric and gave it the look of the Christmas tree. Brightened red lights on the tree. Used Topaz Filter, Frac Filter, overlay image with transparency of itself where I used different techniques, Drew holly leaves and berries and added Script of Noel. Can't remember everything I did.

Mixed Media Photograph of the Month Contest Entry
Noel is a hybrid of two images I created differently. I then placed the transparency of one of them over the other. I found this Christmas tree gown in the Nursery. It was on a mannequin. It had no head so I added everything you see there. The head was a decorative glass embroidered pumpkin, I used parts of the tree to create a hat and did the facial features, adding some dangling pearl hair. The flowers were highlighted as well as the hat and bodice of her dress. To add a little sparkle to her Christmas tree dress I I brightened the red lights on the tree. I also cut out the chest are where you could see the Mannequin and created a sparkly white top with green sparkles. I was originally going to call this "Lady of Christmas", but decided to give my creation a name and called her Noel. I hope you enjoy! :o) Helvi
