Macro Photos Contest Entry

I found this very regal patterned bug in my garden atop a green bromeliad leaf perched up high looking like he had just conquered an empire. At first glance he wasn't very interesting looking. Until I saw the line of brown "eyes" along his side I hadn't intended to spend any time with him, but the more I looked, the more interesting features I saw. I believe he is a leaf footed bug, but am not 100% sure.
