All colours here began as yellow and the yellow base was varigated.
My friend Arrie has been building a trimaran on the sandbanks at Alvir. He is an artist and paints wonderful scenes on shells. He posted this scene one morning as a photograph and I asked permission to paint it. It is not identical but I used the landlines and fabulous sky and water as my guide. The sandbanks and beached yachts are there too but not identical. He had just compleyed a shell of this same sunset. This was a quick prepainting I intend to do It again in oils on canvas.
