Hi, Thank You for taking the time and interest to look at My Artwork.

I created this scene on a solid pine wood board which was formerly a shelf in a book case, dimensions approx ( L34 1/2in x H 11in x W 1in). It was already stained when I received it. The previous owner intended to burn it, so I asked if I may have it. I always enjoy giving further Life and meaning to something that was once a Tree.

I put masking tape along the edges so it would look like a frame afterwards. Then I lightly sanded the exposed area and primed it with a white base coat.

I hung it by applying six eye bolts to the top edge of the board, then braided several faux suede cords and threaded it thru the bolts. I tied knots in the cords larger than the diameter of the eye bolts about an inch and a half from the ends so it was tasseled, just for a little more intrigue.

I hope this image resonates a sense of calm and peacefulness within all who see it, because that was certainly how I felt whilst doing it.

Thank You and please take good care.

Sincerely Stan
