Nesting Bird Photo Contest Winner 
These Quaker Parrots have learned to adapt and live in Florida. A good number of them nest about two miles from my house in palms. Their nests are horizontal, like dens or tunnels. They rarely stock their head out like this for long. I have lots of nesting bird photos, but this is probably the most unique.

Mixed Media: Minor | This was photographed raw, so I had to make minor adjustments to accurately reveal its natural contrast, highlights, and shadows while modestly enhancing texture, clarity, vibrancy, and saturation. Some cropping , but no image alteration or background manipulation.
