Summer Art Contest Entry
This is a watercolor wet on wet technique. I have been working on this piece since the beginning of the summer, and it lent itself perfectly with the contest theme. I really enjoy the wet on wet technique especially doing flowers. I love watching the colors merge into one another creating this delicate flower petal. The background was also done in this same technique along with salt, alcohol, and toothbrush splatters.
